About The Department
Apparel Engineering, a Textile Engineering branch, focuses on producing and enhancing textile goods, especially clothing. It plays a pivotal role in the Ready-Made Garment (RMG) industry, applying engineering principles to improve quality, increase efficiency, and maintain competitiveness. Apparel engineers work in various aspects of the industry, from design and merchandising to management, making significant contributions to industrial engineering within the apparel sector. They strive to increase productivity, reduce costs, and innovate, ensuring the industry’s sustainability and profitability.

To establish apparel engineering department of Textile Engineering College,Noakhali with world class teaching-learning and research facilities.
Mission
- Modernization of apparel engineering laboratory with latest machines, equipment, and technologies and facilities regular practical classes and research works.
- Establishing an apparel engineering department library for the teachers, students, and researchers
- We are establishing an AE departmental seminar room to organize various seminars, workshops, training, etc.
- Taking the initiative to create facilities for higher education and training both at home and abroad for the teachers and the staff.
- Creating a linkage between the apparel engineering department, the apparel industry, and alumni.
- Establishing an alumni association of apparel graduates initiated by the apparel engineering department.
